Wilma "Tootsie" Linkous Cook

Wilma “Tootsie” Linkous Cook, 64, passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2023.
She is preceded in death by her late parents, Lloyd and Fern Linkous of Blacksburg, Va; brother, Roger Linkous.
She is survived by her son, Robert (Keri) Pearce; daughter, Crystal (Mike) Altizer; brother, Lloyd Evans Linkous (Angie) of Lynchburg, Va; sisters; Mary (Adrian) Landry of Blacksburg, Va; Amy Linkous (Glen Winter) of Blacksburg, Va; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nephews; and cousins.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 from 10-11 am at Horne Funeral Home with a funeral service following at 11:00 am in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel. Wilma will be laid to rest at the Late George Linkous Cemetery in Merrimac in Blacksburg, Va. Pall bearers include: Robert, Hunter, Adrian, Glen, Evans and Matt.
