MITCHELL, WILLIAM POSEY, age 65, of Christiansburg, passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2006.
He was the son of the late Tokie Quesenberry and K. T. Mitchell. He was a former employee of Corning Glass Works where he worked for 22 years and Hubbell Lighting for 19 years. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Norma Jean (Judy) Mitchell; one son, William R. Mitchell; one sister, Zelva Barker, of Radford; one brother, K. T. Mitchell, Jr. of Greensboro, NC. Also several nieces and nephews survive.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 26 at the Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 27 at the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Don Peters officiating.
Interment will be private.
