Lambert, William Pierce, 76, of Riner, passed away November 23, 2007 in the New River Valley Medical Center. Born July 7, 1931 to the late John and Lottie Lambert, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Tommy, Dudley, and Billy Lambert.
Mr. Lambert is survived by his niece and her husband, Jonette and Johnny Simmons, of Riner; “his girls”, Lottie and Keely Simmons, of Riner; sister-in-law, Diana Lambert, of Christiansburg; special friends, Vicki and Marshall Linkous, of Christiansburg.
A memorial service will be held Monday, November 26th at 3:00 p.m. in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Kathy Hale officiating, the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to Auburn United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 74, Riner, Virginia 24149.
