Timothy Malcolm Dickerson, 54, of Shawsville, born on December 13, 1956, has made the transition for another journey on Wednesday, August 3, 2011.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Forrest & Tena Dickerson; sister, Rebecca Welcher; and brother-in-law, Mike Willis.
Tim is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Forrest Matthew & Joyce Dickerson; grandchildren, Forrest Miguel and Ava Dickerson, all of Hardy, VA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Martha & Tom Pearman, Peggy Willis, Debra Nack, Lisa & Harold Sword, all of Shawsville, Warren & Sandy Dickerson of Biloxi, Mississippi and Joe Welcher of Elliston, VA; many nieces and nephews who loved him and we all will miss him dearly.
There will be no funeral services at Tim’s request. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 5, 2011, from 5-8 pm at Horne Funeral Home Chapel, Christiansburg, 540-382-2612.
Donations may be made in honor of Tim to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children, c/o Kazim Temple, 628 West Campbell Avenue, SW, Roanoke, VA 24016.
