Teresa Judith Malhotra

Teresa Judith Malhotra, 91, of Christiansburg formerly of Ijamsville MD passed away on March 9, 2026 with her daughter by her side.

She was strong indepenant woman having immigrated from El Savador. She expected nothing to be given to her and earned her way through life depending on no one. She was a true determined workaholic. She is a true example of working and living the American Dream.

Teresa was preceded in death by her husband, Kailash Malhotra; mother, Ana Melendz; and daughter, Tina Winkley.

She is survived by her daughter, Ana Sanchez; grandson, Jonathan A. Sanchez; granddaughter, Karina Davis and husband, Jesse; and great grandson, Gavin Davis.

Funeral mass will be held on March 11 at 7 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with Rev. Anthony Ferguson officiating. Burial services will be held on March 12 at 2 p.m. at St. Olive Cemetery in Frederick MD.
