Sylvia Ann Seavey

Sylvia Seavey, 72 of Christiansburg, VA passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at LewisGale Medical Center in Salem.  Sylvia was a daughter of the late Edward E. Nuckols, Sr. and Hollie Mae Lucas Nuckols.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Daniel L. Seavey; daughter, Jennifer M. Collins; and brother, Edward E. Nuckols, Jr.

Sylvia was a graduate of Christiansburg High School and New River Vo-Tech College.  She was an employee of Virginia tech, retiring in 2017 after thirty-six years of service.

Left to cherish her memory are brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Diane Nuckols of Christiansburg; sisters and brothers-in-law, Patty and Billy Dove of Christiansburg, Carolyn and Roger Ratcliffe of Pilot; nieces, Erika Harrison and Bethany Nuckols.

In honor of her wishes, there will be no public visitation.  A private Graveside Service will be held on Monday, January 29, 2024 at 1 p.m. in Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg.
