Summie Marie Spencer

Summie Linkous Spencer, 92 of Christiansburg, passed away May 14, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband, William ‘Jimmy’ Spencer; son, Richard F. Spencer; and parents, Samuel and Dana Linkous.

Summie is survived by her daughters, Janet Hale, Joyce Spencer, Martha Spencer; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; sister, Daisy Carter and her family of KY; and her special fur baby, Maggie.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 17, 2025, from noon to 1 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The procession for the graveside service at Roselawn Memorial Gardens will begin at 1 p.m., with Rev. Neal Turner officiating.
