Shirley Duncan Sowers, 69, of Florida, previously of Christiansburg, VA, passed away on January 23, 2013.
She was born on July 15, 1943, in Christiansburg, VA. Shirley is survived by 3 children, Tonya Sonner, Wesley Sowers and Wayne Sowers; and 3 grandchildren, Amber Potoski, Sammy Sowers, and Taryn Sonner.
The family will receive friends from 12-2 p.m. on Saturday, February 2, 2013, at Horne Funeral Home, with the funeral commencing at 2 p.m. in the Chapel. Rev. Kenneth Kingrea will officiate the funeral and interment will follow in Huffville Cemetery, Floyd County, VA.
