Sharon Argabright Poff, 75, of Christiansburg, passed away April 25, 2026. She was born to the late Eldridge and Hilda Argabright. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Poff; and niece, Hope Spencer.
Sharon is survived by her siblings, Doug Argabright (Lynn), Steve Argabright (Lucia), Greg Argabright (Terri), Penny Kellison; sister-in-law, Kathy Poff; nieces and nephews, Kim Smith (Rodney), John Argabright (Shawna), Efren Argabright (Krista), Heather Williamson (Tim), Maria Wells (Ernest), Andrew Argabright (LeShawn), Samantha Moon (Greg), Daniel Murphy, and Katie Murphy (Paco). She will also be greatly missed by her great-nieces and nephews, Emily, Hunter, Nicholas, Nijah, Drew, Aiden, Sebastian, Christiane, Maurice, Alexia, Gabriel, Natalie; as well as special friends, Nichols, Linda Mae 'Lulu', Ann, Sherry, and Phyllis & Pete.
Sharon had a successful and distinguished career of over 30 years with the Town of Vinton, serving as a dispatcher, secretary to the Chief of Police, and as the Coordinator of Emergency Services. She was a loving, devoted sister 'sissy', aunt, and friend.
Visitation will be Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 1-2 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will follow at 2 p.m. in the Chapel, with Lucia Argabright officiating. Private interment will be in Sunset Cemetery at a later date.
