Roy Clinton Jones

ROY C. JONES, 98, was called home July 13, 2018 after a short illness.
He was born August 29, 1919. Roy was married to the love of his life
for 73 years and raised 2 beautiful children. He was a loving
husband, father, grandfather and friend. A man of God Roy knew no
enemy. A heart of gold, he always wore a smile.

Roy was preceded in death by his loving wife, Dorothy Jones and his
granddaughter, Shelly Collins. He is survived by his son, Clinton
Jones; daughter, Sandra Manning and husband Ersal; grandchild, Casey
Meador- Jones and wife, Laurie; 3 great grandchildren; his cat, Lucky;
and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 17 from 1 to 2 p.m.
at Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow in the funeral
home chapel at 2 p.m. with Rev. Kenneth Kingrea and Rev. Leon Alley
officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery.
