WILLIAMS, ROXIE THOMAS, age 85, of Shawsville, passed away Monday, July 11, 2005.
She retired from Imperial Reading with 45 years of service and attended the First Church of God. She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Maggie Thomas, four sisters, five brothers and one grandson, Jeffrey Thomas Williams.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 66 years, Albert Williams; sons and daughter-in-law, Richard & Lita Williams; Nelson Williams; grandson, James Williams; sister, Nellie Tabroski and brother, Monte Thomas.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the Horne Funeral Home in Christiansburg. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 14, 2005 at the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Max Nichols officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg. The Williams Family is being served by Horne Funeral Service, Christiansburg, (382-2612).
