STALLARD, Robert Hayden, 50, of Elliston, went to be with Jesus on February 13, 2011.
He was preceded in death by his father, James H. Stallard, Sr., and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Bryce T. Davis and Mary Jane Johnston Davis.
He is survived by his mother, Marietta Walker Stallard; his wife, Janet Leigh Stallard; son and daughter-in-law, James Hunter and Brandy; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Jay Lilly; grandchildren Devin Davis, Dakota Broughman-Stallard, Wyatt Stallard and Jami Stallard; brothers Steven Stallard and Arnita, Jay Stallard and Christie; sister Jayleen Bond-Stallard; brother-in-law Richard Davis; special sisters-in-law Mary Beckner and Louise Saul and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 15, 2011, from 6-8 pm at Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg, VA and the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2011, at 2:00 pm at the Shawsville Congregational Holiness Church, with Pastor Wes Conner officiating. Interment following at Echols Cemetery.
Flowers will be accepted, however, the family would request donations be considered to the Shawsville Congregational Holiness Church Youth Group. The family is being served by Horne Funeral Home.
