Robert David Smith, Sr. of Christiansburg, passed away on April 18, 2012, of heart failure at the age of 70.
He is survived by his wife, Rosemarie Troise-Smith; his children, Robert, Scott, Jennifer and Tony Troise; his four grandchildren, Rochelle, Jacqueline, Stephanie, and Felix Jerald; and great-grandchildren, Cameron.
Robert was employed at Moog of Blacksburg and as a supervisor with the United States Postal Service Vehicle Maintenance of New York. He enjoyed his fellow coworkers at Moog, who became part of an extended family.
Family and friends are welcome to pay their respects at Horne Funeral Home on Saturday, April 21, 2012, from 2-4 pm and from 6 pm until time for the memorial service.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Heart Association, 4504 Starkey Road #115, Roanoke, VA 24018.
