RADFORD, Robert Edward, 38 of Elliston, went to be with the Lord, Monday, December 15, 2008.
He is survived by his fiancé; Sheena Hicks of Elliston, mother and step-father; Brenda and Allen Wirt of Christiansburg, father and step-mother; Warren and Mary Ann Radford of Radford, brother; James Radford of Riner, grandmother; Pauline Radford of Roanoke, step-brothers, sisters and their spouses; Mitch and Kristie Jearls of Roanoke, Eric and Susan Wirt of Dublin, Kristin and Jon Gunter, and Melissa and Mike Mitcham all of Christiansburg. Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and special friends including Bill and Patricia Schooler also survive.
The family will receive friends at The New Hope Church of God, Mud Pike Road, Christiansburg Thursday, December 18, 2008 from 5 – 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held, 11 a.m. Friday, December 19, 2008 at The New Hope Church of God with Pastor T. Michael Bond and Rev. Ed Gallimore officiating.
Interment will follow in The Radford Family Cemetery, on Fort Lewis Mountain, Roanoke County.
