Reed Charles ‘Charlie’ Stoner

Reed Charles ‘Charlie’ Stoner, 35 of Christiansburg, passed away October 18, 2025. Charlie worked at Avelenos as the Front End Manager and was a 2008 graduate of Christiansburg High School.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert Paul Stoner and Sarah Barbara Holmes; maternal grandparents, Charles Eugene and Joyce Reed; uncle, David Stoner; and aunt, Janice Lester Dickerson.

Charlie is survived by his dad, Kevin Stoner; mom, Connie Jean Reed; brother, William Eugene Stoner; niece, Emersyn Mae Stoner; aunts, Crystal Lively, Joyce Slaughter; as well as many cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 24, 2025, from 10 am to noon at Horne Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will follow at noon in the Chapel, with Rev. Neal Turner officiating. The service will stream live begininng at 11:45 am. Streams here
