WILLARD, Raymond, 80 of Christiansburg died Monday, March 24, 2008 at Highland Ridge Rehabilitation Center in Dublin, VA.
He was preceded in death by his parents; William “Sloke” and Edna James Willard, his wife Ruby Roop Willard, son; Leon, brother; James and wife Orpha Teel Willard, sister-in-law; Joyce Williams and Oneada Roop.
Raymond is survived by his daughter; Kathy Willard and her boyfriend; Norman Kenneth Wood, sister Irene Epperly and husband; Otto, sister-in-law; Betty Weeks and husband; J.D., of Ohio, brother-in-law; Robert “Bob” Williams of Christiansburg. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends at The Horne Funeral Home from 5 – 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, 2008. The funeral service will be held in The Horne Funeral Home Chapel 2 p.m. Thursday, March 27, 2008. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery.
