Ralph Kendall Slusher

Ralph Kendall Slusher, D.D.S. passed away peacefully at his residence Saturday, February 14, 2015. He was a graduate of Virginia Tech, Medical College of Virginia - School of Dentistry, and obtained a MBA from Averett University. He practiced dentistry in Altavista, Virginia for several years and was a member of many professional dentistry and academic organizations.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph C. Slusher, M.D. He is survived by his mother, Nancy Anne Spangler Slusher; his brother, Ralph Mark Slusher, Ph.D. and his wife, Carla; his sister, Misty Jill Slusher Hostetter, M.Ed. and her husband, Dean. He is survived by many loving nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.
A family service is to be conducted by Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg, Virginia at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Christiansburg, Virginia on Tuesday, February 17, 2015, at 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the MCV Alumni Association or the general scholarship fund of Virginia Tech in his honor.
