Rachel Louise Hale

Rachel Louise Hale, of Pilot, VA passed away on August 26, 2024. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lee Hale; daughter, Almeda H. Linkous; parents, Gordon and Roenia Alderman; brothers, Deloyd, Tommy, and Alvin Alderman; sisters, Marilyn Alderman, and Christine Linkous; sister-in-law, Cathy Alderman; and special friend, Louise Hutchins. 

She is survived her son-in-law, Ricky Linkous; grandsons, Rickie and Travis Linkous; sisters, Doris Doyle of Roanoke, VA, Barbara Altizer of Pilot, VA, Helen and Charles O’Dell of Pilot, VA, and Darlene and Mike Worrell of Christiansburg, VA; brothers, Daniel and Martha Alderman of Pilot, VA, and David and Teresa Alderman of Pilot, VA; sisters-in-laws, Goldie Alderman of Pilot, VA, Dena Alderman of Pilot, VA, and Alice Jones of Pilot, VA; brother-in-law, Junior Linkous of Blacksburg, VA; friend, Carolyn Shephard, along with many cousins, and nephews. 

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at Horne Funeral Home. Funeral Services will begin at 2 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Leon Alley officiating. Interment will follow in Huffville Cemetery.
