Patti Sue Meeks

Patti Sue Meeks, age 61, passed away on September 14, 2026, just eleven days before her 62nd birthday. Though her time here was far too short, the love she shared and the memories she created will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her.

Patti was full of life, always smiling, laughing, and ready to tell a good joke. She had the biggest heart and always saw the best in people and situations. Her kindness, warmth, and beautiful spirit made her truly special.

She was the best mom, but an even better Nana. Her grandchildren were her world, and nothing brought her more happiness than spending time with them. She loved reading, thrift shopping, walking the beach collecting seashells, and being surrounded by the people and animals she loved.

Patti is survived by her husband, Rick Meeks; her children, David Emrick, Joey Emrick, Stephanie Gowan, Bryan Gowan, and Ricky Emrick; her cherished grandchildren, Kasen, Kooper, Brayden, Braxton, Jensen, Maverick, Memphis, Patrick, and Payton; and her brother, Steve Jones.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Katherine Gearheart Jones and Irvin Jones, and her siblings, Joy Jones, and Jerry Jones.

Patti was cremated. Though we wish we had more time with her, we are forever grateful for the memories, laughter, and unconditional love she gave us.

Rest peacefully, Mom. Thank you for being the best mom and the most amazing Nana. Your smile, your laughter, and your love will live on in us forever. You are loved beyond measure and will be missed more than words can ever express.
