Patsy Harless Bruce

Patsy Harless Bruce, of Christiansburg, passed away October 27, 2025, at the age of 78. She was born in Giles County, VA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence K. Harless and Hazel W. Harless of Giles County; brothers, Cecil, James, Douglas, William, and Marshall; sisters, Lois and Betty.

Patsy graduated in 1965 from Giles High School in Pearisburg, and in 1971 from Hollywood Beauty College in Radford. She worked at Wells Fargo Bank Operations Center in Roanoke. Patsy retired in 2013 with over 27 years of service. She was a longtime member of Belview United Methodist Church where she served as Sunday School teacher. Patsy was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She always had a camera in her hand and was a scrapbook enthusiast.

Patsy is survived by her devoted husband of 59 Years, Robert Harvey Bruce, Jr.; sons and daughters-in-law, Mark Sheridan and Kimberley Linkous Bruce, Gary Allen and Nicole Amos Bruce, all of Christiansburg; grandchildren, Jared Laurence Bruce, Cody Allen Bruce, Rachael Addison Bruce, Landon Amos Bruce, Leighann Allison Bruce, Allyson Nicole Martin, Kevin Taylor Martin (Amber); great-grandchildren, Kaylin and Gracie Reed; and her sister, Diane Fewell of Dublin.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 12-1 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 1 p.m. in the Chapel, with Pastor Laura Beth Gillespie Howell officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin.
