Patricia Diane Huff

Patricia (Pat) Huff, dear wife of James (Jim) Huff died on 1-24-2026 at the Memory Care Unit of Commonwealth Senior Living in Radford, Virginia.  Pat is survived by her husband of 46 years and her children: Amanda Goins and husband, Brandon, Major James Benjamin Huff (Ben) and Jonathan and wife, Maellen Huff.  Pat is also survived by her grandchildren, Morgan and Seth Goins.  Additionally, she is survived by her mother Rosetta White and brothers Bruce White (Rachel) and Clay White.  Pat was preceded in death by her father Lester Jack White, Jr.

Pat had a great love for children, both their education and spiritual wellbeing.  She was leader of the AWANA program at Trinity Community Church for 3 and 4 year olds for nearly 25 years.  She sponsored the Roanoke Road 4-H club for many years and served on the Gifted Advisory Committee for advanced programs to enhance the education of gifted students.

Special thanks to family, friends and churches, which held Pat up in prayers during her fourteen year long struggle with Alzheimer's disease.  Pat's sweet spirit was demonstrated in that she never once questioned why she was afflicted by the disease or complained about her condition.  Finally, a special thanks to the staff  (past and current) of Commonwealth, who showed such love and care to their Pat-Pat as they cared for her during the past 9 years.

A funeral will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2026 at 11:00 at Trinity Community Church in Christiansburg with Pastor John Altizer officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:30 am until time of the service, Interment will be at Sunset Cemetery.
