Patricia Harrison, 70, born on October 2, 1953 to the late William Patteson and Frances Ross Patteson passed away on March 3, 2024.

Besides her parents she is also preceded in death by her grandfather, John Patteson; grandmother, Ester Patteson.

She is survived by her daughter, Heather Harrison (Steve); son, Larry Harrison (Grace); step-daughter, Nikki Keaton; grandchildren, Aiden Robbins, Isabella Haines, Kyra Harrison, Karly Speaks, Alexis Speaks, Britney Speaks, and Tyler Speaks and Farrah Bane; sister, Pamela Patteson; great-grandchildren, Andrew & Kason Speaks, Markie Bane; special friends Karen Quesenberry and Beulah Bishop.

Patricia worked very hard for her family her whole life. She retired from Radford University Police Department as a dispatcher after 36 plus years. She was a member of Harbor of Hope Church where she served in the choir.  She attended bible study group with Martha Ann Stallings and Tina Rhodes. She also enjoyed her Walmart trips with Steve and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a very outgoing person and loved everyone unconditionally. She would do anything for anyone. She will be missed by all who knew her.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to several people. First and foremost they would like to thank the Radford University Police Department for their love and support; Shirley Raines for being her best friend; Jean, Nicole, Abby, and Jon for loving her unconditionally and bringing a smile to her face; Martha Ann and Tina Lee for being there for her; Kris Hylton Morris a special friend to mom and for always being by her side throughout all the years; Melissa and Whitney from Hertiage Hall in Blacksburg who showed care towards her; Garnett Phillips, Granville Hampton, Bill Rutledge, Sam Shumate for all the love and support.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 from 11-1 at Horne Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 1pm in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Craig Reed and Clayton Kipps officiating. Final resting place will be at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
