Opal Miller McDaniel, 98, of Pilot, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2013.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sherfie McDaniel; her parents, George & Linda Miller; four brothers, Walter Miller, Joseph Miller, Howard Miller, and Junior Miller; and four sisters, Ruby Sowers, Gladys Hale, Billie Smith, and Hazel Casar. She is survived by her son, Edward McDaniel of Pilot; two sisters, Anges Blevins of Roanoke and Margie Gray of Troutville; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 27, 2013, from 6-8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 28th at 11 a.m. in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Dwayne Martin officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg.
