ALDERMAN, Nannie Ruth, 92 of Christiansburg, died Thursday, October 2, 2008.
She was the daughter to the late; Ed and Claudia Hawley Howery, she was also preceded in death by her son; Bobby Howery and her sister; Rheba Koch.
She is survived by her husband of sixty one years; Alvin Alderman, they together Spoiled three beloved children; Betsy Gaffey-Pitts, Scotty Lancaster, and Britney Wimmer. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law; Louise Epperly and Ruby Epperly, cousins; Darlene, Derrick, Cassie, Jacey and Taylor. Special friends; Joy Wimmer and Bonnie Wimmer also survive her.
The family will receive friends at The Horne Funeral Home Saturday, October 4, 2008 from 5 – 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, October 5, 2008 in The Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Pete Flinchum officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery.
