Nancy Roberts McGrady

Nancy E. McGrady, 88, of Christiansburg passed away on February 23, 2026.

She and her late husband, David, enjoyed a simple life. Nancy loved to cook, garden, and was a skilled seamstress. She was a good-hearted woman.

Besides her husband, David D. McGrady, Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, W.W. ‘Moot’ & Juanita Roberts; sisters, Pearl ‘Sis’ Smith, Frances ‘PeeWee’ Swain, Brenda Custer, Linda Roberts, and Helen ‘Cookie’ Hughes; and brothers, John Roberts, Hoover Roberts, and Noblin Roberts.

Nancy is survived by her sisters, Faye Curtis and Peggy Woolwine; and the friends who became her family, Sandra Rakes & Alex Snodgrass, J.C. & Amelia Martin, Dale Rakes, and Jed Dennison.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, February 27 at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
