Myra B. Woolwine “Scottie”, 76, of Christiansburg passed away April 8, 2016. Myra retired from Radford Arsenal after 34 years and 9 months. She was a member of Faith Christian Church. Myra loved Myrtle Beach and was a skilled golfer. She is now joined in Heaven with her husband, Sidney J. Woolwine and her parents, Jake & Willa Mae Blair. Myra is survived by her brother, Andy Blair & wife, Connie; nephew, Jacob Blair; sister, Sue Dodson; niece, Dr. Lisa Dimitriadis, PhD; brother-in-law, Roger Woolwine & wife, Brenda; sisters-in-law, Judy Kerr & husband, Jim and Iris Hunter & husband, Charles; and many well-loved nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and church family. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 16 from noon to 2 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow in the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. with Rev. David Rhudy officiating. Graveside services will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
