Michael Perry Turpin

Michael Perry Turpin, 47, of Christiansburg passed away on July 28, 2023, at his home. He was a 1994 graduate of Blacksburg High School. Michael worked for several years at C&S Door. Ember, his granddaughter, was his pride and joy ... the light of his life. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, William H. & Edith Turpin, and Frank H. Epperly & Doris Epperly Gills. He is survived by his wife Christy Alison Turpin; father W.P. Turpin & wife, Carol; mother, Linda Webber & husband, Roger; son, Shane Turpin & wife, Mary, and Ervin Buchanon III; grandchildren, Hayden and Ember Turpin; sister, Jody Eckart & husband, Stephen; brother, Preston Turpin & wife, Megan; and his dogs, Mack and Jax. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, August 12 at Horne Funeral Home.
