Marvin Everett Hicks, Jr

Marvin Everett Hicks, Jr. age 62 of Elliston passed away suddenly on Thursday, October 31, 2024. He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Hicks, Sr.; sisters, Patricia Wheeling, and Janet Nunley; also, his beloved dog, Sissy. 

Everett is survived by his mother, Mazie Hicks; daughter, Vanessa and husband JR; brother, Daniel Hicks and wife Christy; sisters, Rebecca Hoback, Robin Trail and husband Chuck, and Margie High; girlfriend, Brenda Caldwell; his beloved dog, Linus; and numerous nieces and nephews who affectionately called him Bubba; and special nephew, Bob. 

He loved nature and fishing. Everett was also a talented artist who left his mark on many. 

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
