Marie Antoinette Fizer

Marie Antoinette Fizer, 79, a devoted Catholic, of Christiansburg, passed away on Thursday, April 22, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nicholas and Rosalie Ruocco; sister, Angelina Grinnell; the father of her children, Thomas Layton Sr.; and husband Paul James Fizer.

Left to cherish her in their memories are son, Thomas Layton Jr. (Melissa); daughter, Sandra Estes (Randall) of Riner; granddaughters, Nicole Green (Jason) of Christiansburg, Breanna Zikes (Ryan) of Riner, Kayla Thompson (Drake) of California; great-grandsons, Greysen and Kolten Zikes, Nicholi and Camden Thompson; nephew and niece, Stephen Grinnell (Bonnie), Kristina Woodcock all of Corning, NY.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 26, 2021, from 11 a.m. to noon at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Funeral Services will begin at noon with Rev. Anthony Senyah officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg.
