Lawrence Edward 'Ed' Miller Sr

Lawrence Edward ‘Ed’ Miller Sr., 65, of Christiansburg, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 4, 2015.

Ed was a dedicated employee of the Montgomery County Schools system for 28 years, and owned and operated E & M Supermarket in Roanoke for 8 years.

He was preceded in death by his father, Howard George Miller Sr.; and brother, Howard Miller, Jr. Ed is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Jean Miller; mother, Doris Reed Miller; son, Eddie Miller and wife Jessica; daughter, Lisa St. Clair and husband Brad; grandsons, Elijah St. Clair, Carter St. Clair, Colton Miller; sister, Linda Poff and her husband Phillip and their daughter Christy Collins and husband Josh; sister-in-law, Barbara Miller; as well as many special nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 7, 2015, from 5-8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, November 8, 2015, at 2 p.m. in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Michael Vest and Josh Collins officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg.
