Kyle William Dehart

May 22, 1940 — October 16, 2025

Fairlawn

Kyle William Dehart, of Fairlawn VA. passed away in his garage on October 16, 2025, when Jesus called his good and faithful servant home. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. The only places he would have liked to be when he left this earth was in a boat, hunting blind or his garage. Kyle lived a faith filled life of service to his church, his family and his community. As a self employed contractor he was recognized for serving 34 years on the Pulaski County Sewerage Authority for his contributions and volunteerism to the community. A humble and gentle man, he never turned down a friend or cause in need.

Preceding him in death were his parents Garnet William Dehart and Pearl May Lester. His wife Peggy Mathena Dehart and sister Dolly May Deyerle. Loved ones to continue cherishing his memory are his children Suzanne Dehart (Danny Kesler), Debbie Phillips (Sam Phillips), Kevin Dehart (Betty Dehart), Keith Dehart (Amy Dehart). Grandchildren Emily Jessee, Jordan Perfater, Keaton Dehart, Bekah Dehart. Great-grandchildren Alec Jessee and Addi Jessee. Kyle's sisters Lula Corinne Dolinger and Dorothy Likens. His nieces and nephews; Ray Deyerle (Helen), Luanne Gilbert (Jim), Bryan Dolinger (Sandra), Bonnie Deyerle, Mark Likens (Carolyn), Kathi Driscoll (Jim), Jimmy Hiles (Dana), Tammy Smith (Jr), Wes Orr, Jordan Orr, Susie Hiles, Buck Mathena (Pam) and Evelyn Mathena Pannell. 

The family would like to send special appreciation to Gary May weather, Dave Rideout, Rick Overstreet, Jenny Mills and the neighbors who kindly watched out for dad. 

In keeping with his requests, no services will be held. In lieu of flowers the family asks memorial donations in his honor be sent to Rockford Church (Rockford Community Church) 6867 Viscoe Road Fairlawn VA. 24141 (540-639-4349)
