Kathleen Leenora Carden, of Christiansburg, passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2011.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gratton and Mary Carden; and brother, Claud Carden.
She worked as a live-in caregiver for several families in the New River Valley area.
She is survived by special friends, Mary Peterman, Ruth Boothe, Louise Collins and Opal Nixon.
There will be a graveside service on Friday, September 9, 2011, at 11 am at Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg, with Mr. Grover Nixon conducting the service. Visitation will be held 1 hour before the service at the Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg.
