Karen Coleman Martin, age 74 of Christiansburg, passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Martin; parents, Harry and Carmen Coleman; brothers, Larry Coleman, and Ken Coleman.
She is survived by her daughters, Maura Wood and husband, Rodney, Terri Martin, and Denise Tice; grandsons, Nicholas Wood, and partner, Bradley Allshouse, and Tanner Tice; granddaughter, Carmen Gentry, and husband, Timothy; great grandson, Thomas arriving in November.
Karen retired from The Montgomery Floyd Regional Library after 29 years. She loved to knit, crochet, sew, she also ran groups for all of these and made many Halloween costumes for her children, grandchildren, and neighborhood kids.
The family would like to thank the nurses with Carilion and Hospice, as well as all of the caring and loving neighbors on Hummingbird Drive.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 26, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Horne Funeral Home.
