Junior Paul Spencer of Christiansburg, born November 20, 1936, passed away August 7, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Gene Spencer, Sr. and Claire Coleman Spencer; brothers, Garland Spencer (Martha), Gene Spencer (Christine); sisters, Ruby Rice, Ruth Roop, Rhynie Jones, Carlie Stump, and Olonza.
He is survived by his wife, Ernestine S. Spencer; brothers, Luther Spencer (Willie May), John ‘Johnny’ Spencer; sisters, Linda Henderson, Nancy Linkous, Betty Clower, and Martha Sefcik; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 14, 2024, from 12-1 p.m. at New Hope Church of God. Funeral Services will begin at 1 p.m. with Pastor T. Michael Bond and Pastor Jody Kitts officiating. Interment will follow in the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery, Dublin.
