Joyce Ann Martin Barnett, 70, of Christiansburg, made her journey home with the Almighty Spirit on June 25, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, Merle Allen and Ruby Thelma Martin; and brothers, Bill and Steve Martin.
Joyce is survived by her loving husband, David Barnett Jr.; daughter and son-in-law, Athena and Alex Zimmer; granddaughter, Cierra Zimmer; and a host of other friends and family.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 1, 2017, from 1-2 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 510 Porter Street, Blacksburg, VA. The Memorial Service will follow at 2 p.m.
Please make donations to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
