John Miles

John Miles, 89 of Bland County, VA, passed away August 19, 2025.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Ann Miles; granddaughter, Laura Custer; siblings, Frank 'Sonny' Miles, James 'Jim' Miles (twin), Bettie Lorton, Barbara Rife.

John is survived by his son, Johnny Miles (John Miles, II); son-in-law, Charles & Dolly Custer; granddaughter, Bety & Jeremy Hayes; great-grandsons, Chandler & Brianna Crumley, Isaac Cabell, Conner & Morgan Crumley, Jahmi'us Hayes; great=granddaughters, Cayleigh Crumley and Ella Cabell; great=great=granddaughter, Kynsleigh Crumley; as well as brother, Frederick Miles.

John was an electrician with the City of Radford Electric Department.  He attended Radford Church of God and enjoyed singing and playing guitar.  He was born in Newbern, VA, to the late Frank and Dorothy Miles.  He was raised in Radford and resided there until recently.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 9, 2025, from 6-7 p.m. at the Radford Church of God.  Memorial Services will follow at 7 p.m. with Pastor Danny Newman.
