Jason Allen Hoose

Jason Allen Hoose, 53, of Riner, passed away peaceful with his wife and girls surrounding his side on Wednesday, April 6, 2023.
He was born on August 19, 1969 in Flint Michigan to parents, Bill and Linda Hoose.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Allen W. Hoose, Mary Ellen Hoose, James and Ruth Phelps; uncle, Alex Borowiak.
He is survived by his wife of almost 29 years, Noel Hill Hoose; daughters, Courtney Hoose, Kelcie Hoose, and Corrina Hoose; father, Bill Hoose; mother, Linda Hoose; sister, Tiffinay Spears and husband George; aunts, Pam Cross (Tony), Sudie Weller (Ned), Debbie Borowiak; cousins, Jamie, Allison, and Alese; nieces, Katie Hill and Addison; great-nephew, Apollo; special friends, Matt Trump and Ashley Harless, as well as Stacy Lopez; many special friends in California, and his best friend, Jeff Missett.
Jason spent his years taking care of his 3 daughters; he loved attending their sporting events and was their number one fan and biggest cheerleader. He was an avid lover of all animals. He loved being in nature and it was the place in which he found peace. He was also a fierce and loyal friend and he valued his friendships with people. He took pride in his job as an uber driver where he felt such an honor in helping his customers get home safe. Jason was a fighter and fought to the very end. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Roanoke Memorial ICU and Palliative Care Unit. They showed our father and our family the upmost love and care through the most difficult time of our lives, we will always remember this. The family also would like to extend a special thank you to the Blue Ridge Cancer Center and Pulaski radiation center for their care and compassion over the last 3 years of his treatments.
The family will receive friends on Friday, April 14, 2023 from 6-8 pm at Horne Funeral Home. A Celebration of Jason’s life will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at noon in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel. There will be no interment.
