Janet Delores Simpkins, 90, of Christiansburg, VA, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2026. She was born in Kentucky to the late Carl McKee and Evelyn Elliott McKee. She was also preceded in death by a daughter Sue Scott: siblings Wanda June Riley, Donald McKee, Clayton Mckee and Rachel Simpson.She is survived by her husband, Rodney Chester Simpkins; children, Judy Lee Hinton and Randy Carl Spence; siblings, Carolyn Heisler, Diane Jenkins and Shirley Grooms; step daughters, Barbara Simpkins and Vicky Simpkins; as well as other family and friends.A private burial will take place at Big Sands Cemetery in Indian valley.
