James Everett ‘Jim’ Moran, Jr., 77, of Christiansburg, passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2014.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Mildred Moran; and brother, David W. Moran. He is survived by his loving wife, Bettie Moran; children, James and wife Ruth Moran, Rhonda Bishton and husband Tim, Steven ‘Randy’ Moran and wife Carolyn, and Stewart Moran and wife Monica; grandchildren, Tiffany and husband Luke Cunningham, Nathaniel Bishton, Elizabeth Bishton, Kyle Moran, Victoria Moran, Connor Moran, and Samara Moran; great-granddaughters, McKenzie Cunningham and Adelynn DeSimone; siblings, Cecilia Ranck, Robert L. Moran, Osborne Moran, Elma Dean, Elizabeth England, and Linda Crowl; as well as other extended family.
The Memorial Service was held on Saturday, April 26, 2014, at 5 p.m. in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Alpheus Atkins officiating.
