James 'Jimmy' Everette Cunningham

James E. Cunningham (Jimmy) 68 of Christiansburg, VA on Sunday, May 18, 2025; I was called home to be with my savior The Lord Jesus Christ. I was born June 9, 1956 to the late beloved Mr. & Mrs. James H. Cunningham of Riner, VA. I will be helped on my way if needed, by my late, but always loving wife, Silvia F. Cunningham, and my loving sister Mary Ann Gearhart, (Gearheart by name only) a Cunningham by love. Along with my sister-in-law, Phyllis Cunningham.

I am survived by one and only child, Stephanie Lynn Cunningham and fiancé Jennifer Fillinger. Two grandbabies I love so much it hurts to say goodbye to Ariel and Drake my little man Sebastian Whitlow and Sweet great granddaughter Willow 'Willard' Carol. One sister, Joyce Booth and two brothers, David Cunningham and Chris (Alisa) Cunningham. Numerous nephews and grandnephews all of the New River Valley. May the Lord Jesus Christ look over them as He did me, and they come to love him as I did.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 21st from 12:00 to 2:00 pm at Horne Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm at Horne Funeral Home. Interment will follow the service at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
