James Robert Fitch, 59, of Elliston, is at peace with God and Home on Thursday, June 7, 2012.
He was preceded in death by his parents, David Crockett Fitch & Cora Lee Ward; a sister, Audra “Tootsie” Bentley.
He is survived by his fiancée, Susie Linkous; children, Crystal Fitch Rogers & husband Larry, James R. Fitch, Jr., Susan Marie Fitch & husband Eddie Thomas, Chancy Fitch and Clint Fitch; step-children Angie Garcia & husband Luis, Daniel Linkous & wife, Nickie and Jamie Fitch & husband Leonard; and 12 grandchildren.
James served in the Army with the rank of Sergeant.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 10, 2012, from 3-5 pm at Horne Funeral Home, with the funeral service to follow at 5 pm in the Chapel.
