James David 'JD' Duncan

James David 'JD' Duncan, 77 of Christiansburg, passed away June 1, 2025.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Rollie and Jeanette Duncan; step-father, Marvin Dickerson; and mother and father-in-law, Bill and Louise Hamblin.

JD is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Donna Duncan; siblings, Barry Duncan (Terry), Billy Duncan, Debbie Jennings (Bill), Shelby Epperly; sisters-in-law, Peggy Wickline and Kay Terry; special nephew that was like a son, Derek Terry; along with many nieces, nephews, and special great nieces and nephew.  He will be sadly missed.

JD retired from Marshall Concrete/Chandler Concrete after 25 plus years.  He worked parttime at Jones Excavating until his sickness.
