Hilda Blankenship Helm

Hilda Blankenship Helm, 95, of Elliston, passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mawyer E. Helm; parents, Cloyd Blankenship and Ethel Blankenship; one brother; and two sisters.

Hilda is survived by her sons, Tommy Helm (Carolyn) of Elliston, Richie Helm (Linda) of Shawsville; daughter, Connie Cumbie (Cy) of Elliston; grandchildren, Gale Helm (Cathy) of Pulaski, Kevin Helm (Jennifer) of Radford, Skyler Helm (Jessica) of Shawsville; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Judy Vaughn (Bobby), Lois Jones (Marvin); brother, Douglas Blankenship; as well as many other extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 4, 2017, from 6-8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 5, 2017, at 1 p.m. in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery.
