Gregory James Sisson

Gregory James Sisson, 43, of Shawsville passed away on August 19, 2025 at home. He was one of the kindest souls you will meet.

Gregory was a wonderful, loving, and kind man whose life was a reflection of his deep faith in Christ. He had a servant’s heart, always ready to help others in their time of need. He lived out his faith daily through kindness, humility, and love.

Though we grieve his passing, we take comfort in knowing that Gregory is now at peace in the presence of our Heavenly Father. His legacy of faith, kindness, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. His light will continue to shine through the lives he touched.

He was preceded in death by his father, James O Sisson; and grandmother, Helen King.

He is survived by his sons, Justin and Jeremy; wife, Denisse Sisson; mother, Julie Sisson; sister, Melissa Shepherd and husband, Eric; niece, Melanie Shepherd; aunt, Sue Foster; cousins, Scott Sisson and Cathy Fisher.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 22, 2025, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held in Chapel at 2 p.m., with Rev. Dennis Hutchison officiating. Interment will follow in Piedmont Cemetery.
