Gregory Alan Nolen

Gregory Alan Nolen, 60, of Troutville, VA passed away on March 29, 2026. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald R. Nolen and Margaret Hughes. As well as his sister, Sherri R. Nolen and his father-in-law, Vernon E. Helvey.

Loved ones who will forever cherish his memory are his wife, Kim Nolen; stepmother, Becky Nolen; special nephew, Levi Nolen; brother, Derrick Nolen; many nieces and nephews; his mother-in-law, Barbara A. Helvey and brother-in-law, Craig Helvey. His best friends Mark, Gayle, Danan and Jamie Burton, Gary Cooper, Mike Turpin and his concert buddy Mike Carroll.

Greg retired from the United States Postal Service after 29 years. He loved Hokie sports and was a lifelong LA Dodgers fan. Greg enjoyed attending concerts and beach vacations. You would often find him reading true crime novels and visiting zoos and aquariums.
