Gary Lee Irby, 43, of Christiansburg, went home to be with the Lord on January 4, 2016.
He is survived by his mom, Sandrel Ratcliffe; Barbara Jean Irby; father, Gary Roop; ex-wife, Paula; children, Tyler, Tanner, and Jayden Irby; siblings, Katina, Joy, Tavatha, Shawn, Michelle, Michael, and Wayne; special nieces, Nakesha and Allie; special nephews, Rashodd, Marquise, Taylor, Ira, Desmond, Malik; numerous other nieces, nephews, extended family and friends; as well as special friend, Angel Griffith and her children.
Gary was a loving son, father, and brother and faithful friend. He will be missed by all who knew him.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 8, 2015, from 12-2 p.m. at Christiansburg Baptist Church, 2895 Roanoke St., Christiansburg. The Funeral Service will follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Sean Couch officiating.
In remembering Gary the family requests you wear 49ers attire if possible. GO 49ers!
