REED, FRANK H., age 85, of Riner, passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2005 at the V. A. Medical Center in Salem.
He was a Veteran having served in the U. S. Army. He was the son of the late Milton W. & Lauvenia Thompson Reed. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary P. Reed; brothers, Marvin Reed and Tom Reed; sister, Katherine Thompson.
Survivors include four sisters-in-law, Hazel Reed, Treva Cox, Ernestine Weeks and Anna Thomas; a very special friend, Myles Young; nine nephews, 3 nieces, several great nieces and nephews and several great great nieces and nephews;
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the Horne Funeral Home. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 11th at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Sebert Rorrer officiating. Military graveside rites will be conducted by VFW Post #1184 Pulaski. The Reed Family is being served by Horne Funeral Service, Christiansburg.
