Frances Richardson Bower

Frances Richardson Bower, 94 of Christiansburg, passed away on October 23, 2023.
She was retired. Frances was a member of Christiansburg Presbyterian Church and active n the Presbyterian Women.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Percy Alfonso Richardson and Maggie Smith Richardson; daughter, Sharon Gayle Bower; husband, LeRoy Bower; and siblings, Percy Richardson, Arlene Hobart and Lois Stanger.
Frances is survived by her son, David Bower and wife Sandra; granddaughter, Erin Bower Harris; great-granddaughters, Alisa Harris, Madeleine Harris; sisters, Mary Essmann, Sue Rackley, Hazel Talley, Linda Koalkin, Martha Laper; as well as multiple nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be Sunday, October 29, 2023, from 1-2 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. Funeral Services will begin at 2 p.m. in the Chapel, with Rev. Kathy Carpenter officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
