Faye Counts Martin, 73, of Christiansburg woke up in the arms of Jesus on February 26, 2019.
She was a member of the First Church of God of Christiansburg. Faye was preceded in death by her parents, Kenley and Opal Welch; and daughter, Rita Counts Makhoul. She is survived by her husband, Don ‘Mongo’ Martin; children, Rhonda Mah and husband, Albert, Robin Brooks and husband, Dale, Randy Counts and wife Niese, and Dottie Martin; son-in-law, John Makhoul; grandchildren, Amanda, CJ, Andrew, Stephen, Austin, Kristen, Helen, Donny, and Spencer; great-grandchildren, Brennan, Kynlee, Rylee, Lincoln and River.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 1, 2019 from 12 to 2 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow in the Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Lance Jenkins officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
