SUTPHIN, EDNA IRENE ALIFF, age 90 of Christiansburg, passed away Thursday, October 16, 2008 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
She is survived by her husband, Rev. M.C. “Jim” Sutphin; a son, Kenneth Sutphin; daughters, Della, Judy and Donna; eight grandchildren and two great grandsons.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 Friday evening, Oct. 17, at Gethsemane Baptist Church, Radford. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, in the Gethsemane Baptist Church conducted by Pastor Jerry Gibson with interment to follow in Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg.
